Another week gone by. Summer is coming to an end and I don't think I'm ready for that. Little "i" is still in her naked phase and summer is the time for that. Once it starts to get a bit colder it may not be as much fun. Last weekend we were with Uncle Tim, Aunt Dori, Howie and Rusell. On Saturday we went terracaching in Magnolia along the beach beneath Perkins Lane. We found a small patch of beach and hung out there while dad and Uncle Tim walked to the terracache. they siad it wasn't very special. On Sunday, we all went to the annual Hungarian-American picnic BBQ. We went swimming in Lake Samammish, played boche ball, frisbee and soccer, and I chased Howie all over the place.

Been many months since the last post. The most fun thing that has happened the past few months was ... our summer camping trip. We car camped in Oregon and northern California for 2 weeks. We all loved the Smith River in the reswoods area of California. It is the largest remaining undammed river in California. We found a great campground and places to access the river for swimming and jumping. I'll write more soon, I really will.

Oh yes ... my dad entered this blog as a waymark - about the seventh one ever recorded! so now it has to be updated more often!

Another year! A few days ago I moved out a crib and into a real bed. It's such a cute bed. Of course I still won't sleep through the night - what's the fun in that? - and so now I can just go mama and papa's bed without screaming for them to come get me. today I am going to check out a day care center. I get to play with other litle kids! have fun!

It's the end of the year almost. Two days ago I turned 2 years ago. Yesterday I had my two year well-child check up. I'm 25th percentile in weight and 55th percentile in height. Yesterday evening I had my 2nd birthday party. It was great, lots of people came to it. Maybe some pictures will show up here eventually. So much has gone on since my dad and I wrote in this weblog. I am growing every day. I understand English and Hungarian equally well. I don't speak much yet, just a few words but I can communicate what I want very well. My favorite things are reading books, bubble baths and flying (through the air as my dad tosses me). My mom started working and so I spend a few hours every day being taken care of by Judy. I love going to her house. Oh yeah, I like to take pens and magic marker and write all over things, like my sister's desk, the walls, the rug ... anywhere really. I also like spiders ... what I like is to find them and then use a tissue to squish 'em. My sisters and my mom are really afraid of spiders.

This christmas, I will be getting together with my cousins Howie and Russel and my aunt and uncle and grammy and grammy. I can't wait!

Happy May. New things I do: play in the back yard in my sandbox, climb up the ladder and slide down, help referee games of bocci ball, eat with a fork, imitate people, say "ba" for everything, smile and laugh all the time, go with my mom to work, recognize many sentences and do as asked, have a mouthful of teeth. Saw grammy and grampy yesterday. Love the zoo and the aquarium. I eat seafood, all kinds. And artichokes.

It's St. Patrick's Day! And I turned 15 months old 2 days ago. I say "papa" sometimes now in addition to "ba" for just about everything else. I went to the zoo recently and that was a blast! I love meeting people.

Happy New Year! It's Groundhog Day ... and the groundhog promises six more weeks of winter. Today my mom begins her third year in America. Wow. So .... since my last post ... I can walk, I make a lot of noises, I eat well, I often sleep through the night, I've outgrown most of my pajamas ... my dad calls me squid ... I'm just a happy, happy girl. As for my first words ... I can almost say "bubbles" and whenever my mom says "tehén", I go "moooo" (well something close to that).
